Sr Compensation Analyst
Description:
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Performs advanced level professional work in maintaining and administering a PHC system-wide compensation classification and pay for performance program. Serves as a senior level advisor to HR partners across the PHC system in regards to compensation related matters. . Develops and implements approved policies, procedures, practices, forms and other tools for administering the compensation program. Leads and/or works on special compensation projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with course emphasis in Business Administration, Human Resources or a closely related field required.
In lieu of degree, six (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three (3) years of professional work experience in compensation or in HR with a considerable amount of time focused on Compensation related work.
(If no degree, a total of nine (9) years of experience required).
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in a large healthcare system preferred.
Previous experience with large scale HR projects involving planning and complex analysis.
Advanced reporting and analytical skills, including the ability to use databases to analyze and manipulate data and utilize, understand and communicate statistics.
Excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills, including the ability to partner with operating unit leaders and/or service line system leadership to creatively solve problems.
Must have the ability to use technical expertise and problem-solving skills to guide organizational decisions and people with the purpose of reaching optimal outcomes.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast moving, attention to detail environment.
