Surg Tech-CVOR, Sign-on Bonus Available

Description:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Facilitating patient care by assisting the physician during surgery in the Operating Room for multiple specialties, performing technical and some patient care duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Functions as a clinical specialist across numerous service specialty lines. Assumes additional responsibilities for maintaining surgical specialties as necessary and serves as a resource. Functions on a more global level and is more involved in detailed surgical endeavors related to the surgery department.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED and
Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three years of surgical technologist experience.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
N/A

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist Required.
BLS certification required.
